This webinar will introduce and describe a new release of the Australian Food and Grocery Council online Product Information Form (PIF), which is now available to the food industry.

The PIF V6 R6.1 has been revised to reflect the new mandatory allergen labelling requirements following the gazettal of Standard 1.2.3 Information requirements – warning statements, advisory statements and declarations of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. The gazettal incorporates amendments from the Food Standards (Proposal 1044 – Plain English Allergen Labelling) Variation.

The PIF V6 R6.1 has full backward compatibility.

The webinar will comprise an overview of the online electronic PIF (e-PIF) system, details of the changes introduced with PIF V6 R6.1 and a Q&A session. Representatives of the PIF vendors will be available to answer technical questions.

Current users and soon-to-be users of the e-PIF system will find this particularly useful, but all scientific, regulatory and IT managers in food companies wishing to learn more about the e-PIF system and PIF V6 R6.1 will also find the webinar valuable.
