BACKGROUND:

UBS’s 28th Supermarket Supplier Survey, features  responses from over 50 Australian fast moving consumer goods suppliers who rated major supermarket retailers Woolworths and Coles across 26 issues, including strategic and tactical issues, cultural issues, and in-store execution factors. The survey was conducted in the last week of June. First initiated in December 2007, this survey was conducted in the last week of June, and historically has a 70%+ correlation to like for like sales of the retailers. It is key to assessing the strategies of the retailers.
