AFGC WEBINAR | Preparedness in COVID times: Updating Crisis and Recall management strategies for Food and Grocery
30 September 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
The Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) invites members to attend a webinar on Preparedness in COVID times: Updating Crisis and Recall management strategies for Food and Grocery.
BACKGROUND:
The pandemic has elevated our need for adaptive, pivoting strategies to respond to a changing world. Many assumptions and controls are no longer valid, yet we continue to deliver essential products every day. This webinar is intended as a reflection on existing plans and the actions to improve our preparedness for the sustained challenges to our industry that may result in a Crisis or Recall situation. It will cover a context of the changes that F&G are facing, how to improve or update your existing plans for emergencies, crisis management, critical communications, social media challenges and recalls, as well as how to deliver an apology and build a goodwill bank for a bad day. … Going home knowing you have done the right and the best thing you could have.
AFGC welcome inputs from industry and will allow time for questions and discussion.
