Fred is the lead macroeconomist at ABARES. He joined ABARES in 2019, working in the Farm Survey Program before going on to lead research into farm financial performance and the agricultural labour market. In his current role, Fred leads ABARES research into macroeconomic drivers affecting the agricultural sector and commodity markets.
