The AFGC is moving quickly on the development of the National Plastics Recycling Scheme (NPRS) project, a recycling scheme for soft plastic packaging supported by the food and grocery manufacturing industry.

With the design of a soft plastic packaging recycling scheme for Australian food and grocery manufacturers in the packaging space now under way, the experience of packaging and packaging waste recovery in the EU offers valuable insights for Australian businesses.
