Seeking Member input: Sustainability reporting and modern slavery consultations

AFGC is seeking member input on three current Commonwealth consultation processes covering climate-related financial disclosures, broader business reporting requirements and proposed changes to Australia’s modern slavery framework. Together, these consultations raise important issues for food and grocery manufacturers, including reporting duplication, assurance and compliance costs, supply chain data requests, Scope 3 reporting, and expectations around managing modern slavery risks. Member feedback will help inform AFGC’s submissions and ensure our responses reflect industry experience.
