ACCC public hearings

As part of its supermarkets inquiry, the ACCC has commenced a program of public hearings focused on suppliers, consumers and retailers. AFGC CEO, Tanya Barden, and Deputy CEO, Samantha Blake, represented packaged goods suppliers on Thursday 7 November, covering such subjects as pricing, shrinkflation and promotions. The public hearing program concludes with Woolworths and Coles appearing through the week commencing Monday 18 November. Transcripts of all public hearings will be provided on the inquiry website in the coming days.
