AFGC partners with Austrade – trade diversification

19 February 2026

The AFGC is working closely with Austrade to develop a Trade Diversification Plan under the Government’s Accessing New Markets Initiative (AMNI) — a $50 million, two‑year program designed to help Australian exporters build resilience and expand into new markets.

Guided by the AFGC’s Food and Grocery Export Trade Strategy 2030, the proposed activities for AMNI support include:

  • In‑market programs, such as sector‑specific trade shows and retail activations in priority international markets.
  • Buyer engagement and lead generation through Austrade’s global networks.
  • Enhanced market insights and reporting, including tailored training to support food and grocery exporters.

We will share further details on specific activities as Austrade finalises its funding decisions. For more information, please contact Duncan Craig.
