Certification of products suitable for toilet flushing

In May 2022 the Australian and New Zealand Standards organisations published AS/NZS 5328 Flushable Products. There was a two-year transition period, which has now expired. The Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) have authorisation from Standards Australia to provide approval to use the flushable logo in AS/NZS 5328 for the products that pass all tests in the Standard. A list of testing laboratories and products that have been approved to use the AS/NZS 5328 logo is available on the WSSA website as well as FAQs.
