Over the last year, between cost pressures, shifting consumer expectations, and what felt like a never-ending series of inquiries, our sector has had more scrutiny than ever before.
And yet we’re still standing. Still innovating. Still doing what we do best: delivering the products that sustain Australian households.
As our CEO, Colm, said in a recent note to members, this past year has been about resilience. But resilience isn’t the destination, it’s the foundation for what comes next. Now we shift our focus to thriving.
That means going deeper with our members. Not just reacting to what’s happening but getting ahead of it. You’ll be hearing more from us in whatever part of the food and grocery business you are in.
On the national political stage, the Treasurer named productivity as one of his main priorities in his second term. He’s tasked the Productivity Commission with examining what’s holding industries back.
We’re stepping up to ensure the voice of food and grocery manufacturing is heard by calling out the barriers we face, from workforce shortages to energy costs and growing regulatory complexity.
