The AFGC’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) plays a critical role in shaping the direction, priorities and impact of our organisation. In collaboration with our Board of Directors, the ELT is responsible for setting strategic focus, overseeing major decisions and ensuring the organisation is well‑positioned to represent and deliver value for members. The team includes:
Colm Maguire
Chief Executive Officer & Company Secretary
Colm brings proven transformation leadership and governance capability to strengthen collaboration, innovation and outcomes across the sector, and ensures the organisation can deliver with clarity, confidence and impact.
Andrew Clark
Director, Retail
Andrew works with the team to strengthen retailer relationships and commercial credibility, helping members navigate complex retail challenges and identify opportunities that drive growth, competitiveness and long‑term value.
Dr Duncan Craig
Director, Health, Trade & Regulatory Affairs
Duncan provides authoritative technical and regulatory leadership that supports members to deliver safe, high‑quality products, and strengthens AFGC’s influence with regulators and government on complex policy and trade issues.
Scott McGrath
Director, Stakeholder Engagement & Policy
With his strong background in political offices, Scott enhances AFGC’s ability to advocate effectively, build stakeholder alignment, and lift the sector’s profile, supporting stronger policy outcomes for members and the broader industry.
Sarah Collier
Director, Membership & Sustainability
Sarah’s deep ESG and sustainability expertise spanning advocacy, corporate affairs, communications and media relations strengthens the AFGC’s member value and sustainability leadership. She works with members to advance sustainability outcomes across the value chain and driving collaboration and innovation that deliver positive outcomes for industry and community.
Together, the ELT underpins AFGC’s renewed purpose – bringing Australia’s FMCG industry together to champion growth – by protecting the foundations that enable delivery for members: operating for the benefit of the sector, strengthening member engagement, advocating strongly for industry, providing valuable services and advice, and ensuring the organisation has the financial strength and capability to deliver.
