Expression of Interest now open: Showcase your brand at CIIE 2026 in China

30 June 2026

Background

As part of AFGC’s partnership with Austrade through the Trade Diversification Network, we are pleased to share an opportunity for Australian food and grocery businesses to participate in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2026, taking place in Shanghai from 5–10 November 2026.

Austrade is once again leading a Team Australia Pavilion in the Food and Agricultural Products Hall, providing Australian exporters with a platform to showcase products, build buyer relationships and explore opportunities in one of the world’s largest consumer markets.

Member action

As a member of the Austrade Trade Diversification Network, AFGC encourages members considering growth opportunities in China to explore this opportunity early.

Why participate?

CIIE is the world’s largest import-focused trade expo and a key gateway for businesses looking to strengthen their presence in China and the broader region. Participating businesses will have the opportunity to:

  • Showcase products to importers, distributors, retailers and e-commerce platforms
  • Explore opportunities under the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement
  • Benefit from Australia’s Nation Brand promotion
  • Access networking and market support from Austrade’s China team
  • Increase brand visibility through targeted promotional activities

Who should consider applying?

Australian food and beverage exporters interested in:

  • Growing exports to China
  • Building brand awareness in market
  • Developing new customer and distributor relationships
  • Exploring longer-term opportunities across North Asia

Expression of Interest now open

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now being accepted, with places expected to be limited.

EOIs close Friday 31 July 2026.

Austrade is currently finalising participation packages and costs, with successful applicants receiving further information following assessment of their EOI.
