Expressions of Interest: Supply Chain Committee and Trading Partner Forum Executive Committee

10 November 2025

Background

Expressions of interest are open to join the AFGC Supply Chain Committee and Trading Partner Forum Executive Committee.

About the Committees

The Supply Chain Committee (SCC) and Trading Partner Forum (TPF) Executive Committee are two of the AFGC Standing Committees.

Members are selected for their technical expertise relevant to the food and grocery industry, not as company representatives. However, they are expected to draw on their professional roles to inform and enrich the Committee’s work.

Each committee has a focus on maintaining balance across company size, product categories, and geographic representation. Members typically hold senior technical roles, enabling them to provide informed perspectives and contribute to effective, industry-aligned decision-making.

The Supply Chain Committee is a group of Supply Chain Directors from 15 member companies.

The Trading Partner Forum Executive Committee is a group of 10 members with equal representation of retailers and suppliers across ANZ.

Both committees meet four times a year, face to face, in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Why Join a Committee?

  • Bring your expertise – turn insight into coordinated, sector-wide solutions
  • Grow your network – collaborate through trusted, non-commercial forums
  • Champion the future – support inclusive, resilient supply chains
  • Stay ahead – spot trends, risks, and opportunities early

How to Apply

Interested applicants are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to the AFGC Secretariat at lee.dittmar@afgc.org.au, including the following:

  1. Full name and contact details
  2. Current role within your company
  3. Major product categories manufactured or imported by your company
  4. Company endorsement statement confirming support for your participation (including meeting travel and/or accommodation costs)
  5. A one-page summary of your qualifications and relevant industry experience
  6. A short paragraph highlighting the skills and interests you will bring to the Committee

Selection Process

This invitation is open to current AFGC members.

Committee vacancies are limited. All EOIs will be recorded for future opportunities.

Observer roles may be available for members who wish to stay informed without actively participating in decision-making. Observers can attend meetings, receive updates, and contribute insights when invited, but do not hold voting rights.

Please forward expressions of interest by Friday 5 December 2025 to be considered for 2026 committee appointments.
