New AFGC video series tackles myths about processed foods

AFGC has launched a fresh new video series in partnership with cookbook author and influencer Kelsie Heemskerk, known online as @cookwithkels_. 

In Cooking With Kels, we take on common myths about processed foods – directly from the kitchen bench. Using practical, relatable meals like lunchboxes to spaghetti bolognese, Kelsie separates food facts from fiction. 

The four short episodes will launch this week on AFGC’s Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. 

• Episode 1: Is processed food unhealthy?
• Episode 2: Is processed food less nutritious? 
• Episode 3: The more ingredients, the less healthy? 
• Episode 4: Would we be better off without processed foods? 

This is part of a broader video advocacy campaign aimed at helping consumers make informed, balanced food choices. 

What members can do: 

• Watch the Cooking With Kels videos 
• Share them with colleagues, staff or internal comms channels 
• Follow the campaign via AFGC socials and help amplify the message
